In addition to a busy schedule of educational programs and private corporate events, we perform at a variety of venues and events around the country. Come by and see us at a show, or contact us to invite Transit to your town!
Started in 1984, "The" Lexington BBQ Festival has grown from 30,000 attendees to over 200,000 annually. Recently, it earned recognition as a "Top Ten Food Festival" by Travel & Leisure Magazine. Transit loves performing in the "BBQ Capital of the World"!
When we're not singing in the Fourth of July for crowds up to 40,000 in Kenan Memorial Stadium at UNC-Chapel Hill, we like to celebrate Independence Day as part of Greensboro's Fun Fourth.
An annual event for 150 years, the SC State Fair draws over half a million attendees over its 12 day run. With multiple shows per day on the Transit stage, we needed the "fair food" to stay fueled!
The North Carolina Apple Festival, a four-day event over Labor Day weekend, is one of the largest family events in the state. Annual attendance is over 250,000 people, and Transit is honored to be a regular part of the festivities.
It is every musician's dream to perform in Carnegie Hall - and Transit saw that dream become a reality. As finalists in the International A Cappella Open, Transit brought a sold-out crowd to their feet and will never forget their moment in Carnegie Hall.
Milwaukappella is a celebration of the unaccompanied human voice. Transit is honored to be teaching an all-day student workshop and then headlining the evening performance at the South Milwaukee Performing Arts Center.
